Free Resource: The Skeleton Game

As the lecturer in charge of hominin evolution for our Human Evolution and Diversity Module in 2023, I had my students participate in a weekly challenge. Every week, I would provide a new game, quiz, or activity that they were encouraged to try and win. Every volunteer got candy, but every winner got both candy and the glory of victory.

The first challenge was the game featured below. Designed for science students in years 7-11, this game is a fun and accessible way to start your skeletal anatomy unit. And while it’s not designed for university students, I can confirm that they love it too!

To play, follow this link. You will need to navigate to the orange “Game” button in the lower left corner. When you click on it, two options will appear. Select the option on the left (circled in red below). This will take you to the skeleton game.

Use this as a fun introduction to the content or a brain break for higher level classes.

And most importantly, enjoy!
